Bread scoring practice templates

Practice the movement on paper before working on dough. The two-page A4 PDF includes six guided patterns, freehand practice lines, technique reminders and print settings.

Patterns included

  • Main expansion curve
  • Overlapping baguette cuts
  • Wheat stalk and leaf branch
  • Chevron and diamond grid
  • Freehand motion-practice lines

How to use the sheet

  1. Print at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter.
  2. Trace each line in one deliberate motion.
  3. Repeat freehand without retracing the same cut.
  4. Move to dough only after planning the blade path and stabilizing the loaf.

The patterns train movement; they are not exact cutting dimensions. Adjust depth and orientation for your dough, recipe and intended result. Blades are extremely sharp.
